This sharpener is a very good investment…I have had it about a 10 months or so and I dont have anything bad to say about it. It is made very well… If I had to buy another i would!!!

Excellent product and an excellent company.
Up until upgrading to the V-390 we used a Drill Doctor Pro and it did a couple thousand bits in it’s time but wasn’t designed for the work we now do. Moved up to the V-390 and so pleased with the results especially for our stainless pieces and harder materials. Easy to use and allows you to tailor the drill points for specific jobs. The tips are so uniformly the we often can get away without center drilling.

I have Drill Doctor and rate it as merely adequate, and not very user-friendly. I believe this corrects most, if not all, of Drill Doctor’s shortcomings. Such quality comes at a price — a fair price — but a price.
I am retired with a home shoppe for handyman tasks. When I can budget this I will acquire it quickly and happily pay the price. Quality cannot and should not be inexpensive, like the Drill Doctor was.

Wheels are difficult to get set after changing. Wish this sharpener could go up to 1″ diameter bits.

We purchased this drill bit sharpener for our buisness, We work with mostly stainless and use cobalt drill bits. They tend to become dull and are not cheap, so the drill bit sharpener definitely helped us with saving time and money. A lot of times, the sharpener cuts the drill bits better than they come.
